A is for Apron and I can do it "all by my own."

I have made a number of aprons over the past couple of months.  Above are the Christmas baking aprons.  I used Sew Liberated's little apron pattern - especially designed for 3-6 year olds.

As Meg writes, "Since the child needs no help from an adult to put on or take off the apron, it fosters independence and contributes to confidence and increased self-esteem."

Both my girls are fiercely independent about putting it on and off.

And here she is with the Christmas gift she gave me.

My pal N made this cutie with Ikea's terrific line of Sonoa fabric. She embellished it with a Hello Kitty badge from H&M.
